This means that it is a class of laser product Which does not emit hazardous laser radiation; This is possible only because the laser beam is completely closed during all operating modes of the customer. The laser and the output of the laser scanner unit emits a beam which, if examined, could cause eye damage. Observe the service procedures as written without change. When servicing the machine or laser module, follow the procedures described in the manual and there will be no risk of the laser.

Laser (FDA): All labels visible to the service must be reproduced in the maintenance manual with place illustrated or indicated. Safe work procedures and clear warnings about precautions to avoid possible exposure should also be included. The Laser contained in the DocuPrint N2025 / N2825 meets the following standards: Laser class 3b, maximum 5mW, wavelength 780nm. The following LASER symbol appears at the beginning of any procedure where there is possible exposure to the laser beam.

This manual is divided into seven sections. The title and description of each section of this manual is as follows: Section 1 - Call Procedures Service This section is used to identify a suspected problem. It contains Machine Orientation, Call Flow, Initial Measures, Corrective Actions and Final Actions. This part of the Service Manual should always be used to initiate the service call. Section 2 - Repair analysis procedures in this section is used to isolate and identify problems to a faulty component or subassembly. It contains the introduction, message table display, error code tables and repair analysis (PA) procedures.

Section 3 - Image Quality This section contains the image quality repair procedures to help correct image quality defects. These procedures provide defect samples and definitions to help identify the type of anomaly that exists, the test pattern to be used, and the actions required to correct the defects. Section 4 - Repair / Adjustment This section contains instructions for removing, replacing and adjusting parts that have been spared in the machine. Section 5 - BOMs This section contains illustrations of disassembled subsystems and the list of spare parts. Part names are listed in this section of the manual even if the part itself is not spared. All parts that are spared will have the part number indicated. Parties that are not spared will not have a corresponding number. 

Section 6 - General Procedures This section includes the Operation Menu Card and the Service Mode Menu Card. It includes all single service operations, complementary tools, and supplies. Section 7 - Data Wiring This section contains sensors, connector, and PWB location drawings; Power distribution diagrams, interconnected diagrams, interconnection diagrams and pin assignment information. This information is not specific to individual procedures but is provided for general reference.

the DocuPrint N2025/N2825 Service Manual has been so helpful! Thank you ever so much for the link and of course the password! its been a life saver!

I have been having so many problems and i have been looking for a decent manual for a while now and I'm not able to find a good one anywhere and i really needed all types of repair analysis procedures and wiring data not so much the general information but service calls procedures and parts lists which have been unbelievably and amazingly helpful to me.

I'm not the most tech-savvy person in the world but i'm book smart so manuals help and make up for my lack of knowledge so you cant imagine how happy i am to have found your blog and i cant thank you enough
