thank you so much! i wish i had had this last night. after about 3 or so hours of taking apart and cleaning up non-canon spilled ink, i put it back together and now i have a cover open alarm preventing me from printing! hopefully this repair manual will tell me where this sensor is and what to do to either fix or rig it to work. thanks again!
