A new spearhead of camcorders DVD Cannon out of production lines: this new model called Canon DC50 has a Super Range initially developed optical image stabilizer and DIGIC DV II processor for HD camcorders that show its effectiveness when the user operates inside the optical zoom 10 x. For the first time, a camcorder of no less than 5.39 million pixels comes onto the market, promising an improvement in the quality of the images and videos. All control elements are on hand during the recording. Thanks to the Quick Start function, this camcorder is quickly operational and its compatibility with the DVD double layer and its low power consumption allow to increase the maximum recording times.
The DC50 is the world's first 5 megapixel DVD camcorder (as of January 6, 2007). The data captured by the CCD can be written directly into richly detailed video clips on the DVD. An RGB primary color filter ensures bright, vibrant color rendering. Images captured initially by the CCD in 16: 9 format predestine this camcorder to record true panoramic shots. Its 2.7-inch widescreen LCD display and 0.27-inch widescreen LCD viewfinder allow users to control shooting in full width during recording and playback. The Canon DC50 is equipped with a zoom 10 x powerful integrated image stabilizer optical Super Range initially presented on the HV10 HD camcorder.
This extended stabilization system is able to detect not only the vibrations at high frequencies but also vibration at low frequencies such as those caused by the movement due to respiration transmitted to the camcorder. The result from a more effective reduction of blurred images. The optical image stabilization system works also in photo mode.
5.39 megapixel CCD ensures not only first quality moving images but also of excellent quality digital photos that can be stored onto MiniSD cards. The DIGIC DV II processor brings his qualitative contribution in dealing with the volumes of data down to the last detail. With better noise reduction, it produces clearer and sharper images. The videos and photos are surprisingly saturated and living colors. Through treatment to two lanes, the user can take a picture of high quality while making a video recording without the need to change the mode or interrupt the video clip. And to succeed also shooting in low light conditions, this camcorder offers integrated a LED video light and a flash. In addition, this camcorder supports the PictBridge function for direct printing of photos on compatible printers.
