HP Color LaserJet printer 2550 is a laser printer from four color prints up to 20-page letter-size pages per minute (ppm) in white and black, up to 19 ppm A4 size pages and prints letter size / A4 pages to 4 ppm in color. Includes a PCL 6 printer driver and has emulation PostScript level 3. The printer comes with a tray multipurpose (tray Tray 1), which holds up to 125 sheets of print media or 10 envelopes. The printer can also accept an optional 250-sheet (tray 2) for standard sizes tray and optional 500-sheet (tray 3) for A4 and Letter size tray. This model comes standard with print cartridges (cyan, yellow and magenta) color that can print up to 2,000 pages with 5 percent of coverage. It comes with a black print cartridge that can print up to 5000 pages with coverage of 5%. (A typical business letter has a 5 per cent coverage). The printer provides bus ports (USB) serial-parallel and universal connectivity. The printer also optional external accepts a print server HP Jetdirect to connect to a network. The printer comes standard with 64 MB of RAM. The printer has one DIMM slot available for expansion of memory and additional support from sources. The memory is expandable to 192 MB by adding a 128 MB DIMM.
