With the PIXMA MP760, Canon is expanding its range of inkjet multifunctional systems by a "photo specialist". The built-in through-through for up to six 35-inch wide-format originals and the large 2.5-inch color display allow the direct printing of negatives or slides without any detours via the PC. Card slots for a wide variety of card types, a PictBridge interface for direct cable connection to compatible digital cameras and camcorders, and a USB 2.0 Hi-Speed interface are also available.

As a printer, the MP760 can handle up to 4,800 x 1,200 dpi, up to 25 pages per minute in black and up to 17 pages per minute in color. For an edgeless photo print in the format of 10 x 15 cm it only takes about 36 seconds. Canon FINE technology, micro nozzles with up to 2 picoliters of fine ink droplets and 5 ink system including ContrastPLUS ensure an excellent print image with high sharpness, contrast, color accuracy and color shading. Both-sided printing and copying can be done with the integrated duplex unit.

Also as a scanner makes the PIXMA MP760 literally a good figure. The device is the first Canon multifunctional system with compact through-hole. Two document holders are integrated in the lid holder to save space. This allows you to scan up to six KB negatives or four framed slides with a maximum of 2,400 and 48-bit color depths. Efficient work is supported by the Scan to PDF and Fast Multi-Scan functions as well as intelligent driver software for dust and scratch removal

As a digital copier, the MP760 impresses with its speed. The function Copy with color reconstruction, which automatically refreshes faded colors when copying older documents or photos, is quite new. The included software MP Navigator facilitates access to various functions of the MP760 from the PC.
