D-Link DIR-600 USER MANUAL

D-Link DIR-600 USER MANUALWith the D-Link Wireless 150 Router, you can build a high-speed wireless network in your home. Simply connect the DIR-600 to a cable or DSL modem and use an Internet connection. The router uses the Wireless 150 technology, which enables higher speeds and greater range using the 802.11b / g standard. Via an integrated 4-Port 10-100BASE-TX Ethernet Switch, cable-connected devices can also be connected to the network. The DIR-600 has an integrated firewall that protects your network against malicious attacks. It minimizes the risk of hacker attacks and protects you against third-party intrusion into your network. The SPI and NAT firewall functions ensure that only tested data packets are forwarded from the Internet to your network and hide the actual IP address of your computer. Child protection also prohibits access to certain content. These rules can be defined differently for all PCs connected to the network. In addition, the DIR-600 supports the current wireless encryption standards WEP, WPA and WPA2. This makes your network secure and even sensitive applications such as online banking can be run without risk.

In conjunction with other Wireless 150 or 802.11n devices, the DIR-600 provides a high-speed wireless connection. It is also compatible with a variety of 802.11b / g wireless devices. The DIR-600 has 4 Ethernet ports for connecting Ethernet-enabled PCs, print servers, or other devices. With the D-Link Quick Installation Wizard, you can set up your wireless network in just a few minutes. The wizard guides you through the installation process to install new hardware and connect your PCs to the network. In addition, all wizard settings can be made via the wizard to establish an Internet connection. The DIR-600 is also Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS) certified. If a new WPS-enabled device is to be integrated into the network (for example, a PC, a printer, a digital camera), all security settings are automatically made via PIN or button press.
